Good news for "The Mummy" franchise fans as it will definitely be continued for its third installment.
Called The Mummy 3: Curse of the Dragon, it will see Brendan Fraser return as Rick O’Connell. Unfortunately, Rachel Weisz won't be returning to play the part of Evy, Rick's wife, as she turned down the offer. Replacing Weisz as Evy will be Maria Bello. Luke Ford will play Rick's son Alex.
New members of the cast will include Jet Li, who will play the role of Emperor Han. Playing a wizard in the film, Zijuan, will be Michelle Yeoh. There are rumors that Liu Yi Fei may also be included in the movie.
Rob Cohen will direct the project, while Miles Millar and Alfred Gough will do the scripting.
Where is your evidence that John Hannah is returning? I have heard nothing about this.
Also, Luke Ford is not a 'returner'. He's a new actor; the orginal Alex was played by Freddie Boath.
