The ABC Family sci-fi show Kyle XY delivered some decent numbers for the Alphabet in its season premiere. In its Monday night debut, it averaged 400,000 in the 18-34 demo, a surge of 22 percent over last year's first season.
Other good news for the show was it drew a healthy female demographic with an average of 263,000 women in the 18-34 group - increasing about the same as the overall audience over last year with 23 percent more this time around. In the 18-49 demo, the show averaged 548,000, which was an increase of 12 percent.
The down news is it looks like young males have dropped off in big numbers as the overall viwership came in at 2.2 million total, a pretty big drop over last year's 2.6 million viewers for the premiere episode of the entire series.
For those that want to see it again or missed it, they can also watch it on Friday nights in the 8 p.m. slot.
