
Frankie Abernathy who's "Real World: San Diego" experience wasn't much of a success, but whose putting a face on cystic fibrosis was, died Saturday at the age of 25. While it's assumed she died from the disease, the official cause of death hasn't been released.
Mother Abbie Hunter said: "It was very sudden. It wasn't something that was expected. She was doing fine, and we really don't know very much yet. It still was kind of a shock, and it just wasn't how we figured things would go. It seems like her little body just gave out."
During her stay on the "Real World" show, Frankie said, "Tomorrow is a privilege, so live today like tomorrow isn't happening." She ended up leaving the show during before the season finished.
She died in her mother's home is Shorewood, Wisconsin.
