
Britain is entertaining the biggest stars in Bollywood this weekend as it hosts the International Indian Film Awards (IIFA) - Bollywoods equivalent to the Oscars.
Before the big event, there will be a celebrity cricket match which should go off well, as its so popular among Indians. Famous Bollywood actors Anil Kapoor and Bobby Deol will partake in the match. Well-known Indian cricket stars Mohammad Azharuddin and Kapil Dev will also take part in the game.
Shilpa Shetty of Big Brother fame also threw a birthday part bash on Friday night in Leeds. She performed a song from the thriller Dhoom 2.
Other big stars in attendance are Abishek, Aishwarya and Amitabh Bachchan, all who are nominated for awards.
Hindi movie Rang De Basanti won for best picture, among a number of other awards.
It was directed by Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra
and starred Aamir Khan.
For his role in Krrish, Hrithik Roshan won the best actor award to thunderous applause. "May our children never be afraid to dream the impossible because ... someone like me could get this far," said Roshan.

Rani Mukherji won best actress for her role in Kabhi Alvida Naa Kahna (Never Say Goodbye).
The most glamourous female lead went to Aishwarya Rai.
With over 200 Hindi films he has acted in, Dharmendra was awarded for his tremendous contribution to Indian cinema, and responded with an emotional speech.
