In what can't be a too difficult role to embrace, Nick D'Agosto has landed a spot in the NBC (GE) hit "Heroes" next season.
He will have the acting duties of being the boyfriend to Claire (Hayden Panettiere). Producers say that he will also be given "a very cool superpower." His character's name will be West.
D'Agosto played in the CBS (CBS-A) pilot "Orpheus" last year, with actress Mena Suvari. He also worked with Marisa Tomei in "The Rich Inner Life of Penelope Cloud."
He also acted in the indie film "Rocket Science," which was highly acclaimed at the Sundance Film Festival, and is due out soon.
This is the second announcement of a new character being added to the popular show lately. Dania Ramirez had been picked to be part of the NBC hit also.
