For those connoisseurs' of everything Oprah, they'll now get a chance to soon visit her newest project: a retail store.
The new store will be located across the street from Harpo Studios in Chicago, where she tapes her TV shows. While the store itself is single level with only around 4,500 square feet, it should be a strong attraction for her fans continually leaving her tapings.
A spokeswoman for Winfrey has confirmed that construction has begun on the store.
What the store will offer are things similar to what she offers on her Oprah Boutique Web site; apparel, DVDs, African crafts, among other items. It also promises to have plenty of Oprah pictures all over the store.
Local authorities say they're thrilled to have the new retail store as fans are always coming around the studio - no matter what day it is - to take photos and have a look around, not only when the tapings are going on.
With the built in location, you already know that Oprah's going to have a winner here, as long as she's doing the show and remains in the public eye; probably even after that if she decides to keep it.
