Spike TV is paying tribute to Bruce Lee on Sunday, June 24 with an almost 10-hour long marathon they're calling Bruce Lee Day. The time slot will be from 2:00 - 11:30 PM.
In memory of Lee, the channel will show Lee's films "Game of Death" and "Fist of Fury," along with "Dragon: The Bruce Lee Story, which stars Jason Scott Lee and Lauren Holly.
What should interest fans most though is the special event connected to "Enter the Dragon," where Lee's daughter Shannon Lee will host the special.
There will also be cross promotions involving GameTrailers and Spiketv online sites which will include exclusive digital content. Gametrailers will show an interview with Shannon Lee on Saturday on their Web site, where she will talk about present and future plans connected to the videogame.
Eddie Dalva, Senior Vice President of Content, MTV Entertainment Group said, "Bruce Lee is the ultimate action icon who is more relevant today than ever before. Spike TV is thrilled to present a unique glimpse into the life of a true legend whose work is so relevant to our brand."
This looks like something Bruce Lee fans should really enjoy.
