
The History Channel was able to break its own records as it finished in the No. 1 position in cable for May 28, with the premiere of "Star Wars: Legacy Revealed and "The Universe." "Star Wars" finished as the top original telecast in the history of the channel.
The record "Star Wars: Legacy Revealed" achieved was in the 25-54 demo as the NO. 1 original telecast, while in the 18-49 demo, it was the No. 1 show in that category ever. The show drew a strong 3.1 million viewers. For the night, it was No. 1 in the 8-11pm slot among the 25-54.
The Universe: Secrets of the Sun was also the best premiere for the History Channel, as it was top for both the 25-54 and 18-49.
