The reality series depicting the move of Victoria Beckham and husband David Beckham from London to Los Angeles has been pared down from a six-week series, to a one-hour special. Talk about hurting the ego. Evidently NBC must have received horrible results from their research showing the show didn't have legs to stand on.
The show called, 'Victoria Beckham: Coming to America', will be aired on Monday, June 16.
It will give viewers a glimpse into Victoria's life during the entire process.
"Viewers will get a first-hand glimpse into what it's like to be one of the most sought-after celebrities in the world," said Craig Plestis, head of alternative programming at NBC. "Victoria's every move is documented by the paparazzi, but only our cameras have been allowed inside the world of what being Victoria Beckham is really like."
The Beckham's will be making their final move at the end of June, when Victoria's husband David joins th LA Galaxy soccer club.
Something like this would have probably played to a larger audience in Europe.
American Soccer has been trying to gain a stronger hold in the public mind, and the reality show was meant to be one of the tools used to increase interest in the entire deal and ordeal which is bring the Beckhams to America.
Victoria is the former "Posh" of the "Spice Girls."
