You have to give them one thing, Virgin Media isn't giving up in its battle with BSkyB and Sky One.
With their newly started Virgin 1 media Website, they are looking to make an immediate impact, as they went to Hollywood to get some content for their new business.
The company came back with Warner Bros.' "The Sarah Conner Chronicles," a spinoff from the popular "Terminator" series. They also landed all of the "Star Trek" series from CBS Paramount, totaling over 600 hours.
Virgin also commissioned its first indie film from America called "The Real Exorcist" from Pilgrim Films.
The new initiative will also include "content from Virgin Media's current pay-TV channels, along with user-generated content to supplement it."
Virgin1 is scheduled to launch sometime in the fall.
