An Australian media watchdog group said it wants to remind parents that the latest installment of the "Harry Potter" series, "Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix" is not for young children.
Young Media Australia president Jane Roberts said, "Naturally young children, who are familiar with the Harry Potter name and attracted by the associated merchandise, will want to see this movie.
"However, parents need to know that although the early Harry Potter books and movies were for kids, albeit with some scary material, the later movies reflect the more complex themes covered in the later books."
With the nationwide opening in Australia this week Roberts said she wanted to remind parents of the films rating and the need to carefully consider whether their young children should be taken to see it.
