
NBC (GE) picked the wrong type of show to offer again, as their three-hour primetime "Live Earth," drew very little interest, with only an approximate 2.7 million viewers tuning in. That's even under the 3 million average they usually get for Saturday nights during the summer. It was only able to garner a 0.9 rating/3 share for the night.
This shows people are getting tired of the obsession by elites with the alleged global warming threat that a large amount of scientists say is built upon faulty science. Even the media blackout on those scientists hasn't kept the public from getting the information.
As far as the winner for Sunday primetime, Fox (NWS-A) as usual won the night in the key 18-49 demo, being led by "Family Guy" and "The Simpsons." CBS (CBS-A) won in overall viewership with a 7.1 million average.
Averages for Sunday were CBS (7.1 million, 1.7/5); NBC (5.7 million, 1.4/4); Fox (4.4 million, 2.2/7); and ABC (DIS) (4.1 million, 1.3/4).
