After Mindy McCready had her big No. 1 hit in 1996, "Guys Do It All the Time," everything seems to have gone downhill from there. She was arrested Saturday when her mother called the police because McCready got violent with her. Police said McCready's mother had scratches on her face.
She was released on bail of $1,000 on Saturday, according to TMZ, and is scheduled for an August 14 court appearance.
From 2004 on, starting with her conviction of fraudulently buying prescription painkillers, McCready has been in trouble. She was charged, but acquitted, of a DUI charge, but was found guilty of driving on a suspended license.
In an interview, McCready says she's thinking about filing charges against a Sheriff's deputy for brutality. The mark on her face in the picture came from when she resisted arrest. The struggle caused her face to hit the ground which caused the injury.
At the jail deputies also had to use pepper spray to help control her.
