The controversial film project "Valkyrie" starring Tom Cruise didn't get the type of attention it wanted as 11 extras were injured in an accident as they fell off a truck during weekend film shooting.
"No one suffered anything more serious than cuts and bruises, though one of the extras was kept in the hospital overnight for observation," said a statement Monday from United Artists.
Neithe Cruise or director Bryan Singer were at the location at the time of the accident.
The controversy stems around Cruises' adherence to Scientology, which many in Germany believe isn't a religion but a scam which takes advantage of vulnerable people, while playing one of Germany's few heroes during that period of time.
Cruise plays Col. Claus Graf Schenk von Stauffenberg who was caught and executed after attempting to assassinate Hitler.
The movie is scheduled for release sometime in 2008.
