
The win by Fox (NWS-A) in the key 18-49 demo, marks the 27th straight victory for the network, the longest winning streak in 11 years by any network, according to data gathered by Nielsen Media Research.
Leading the way for Fox were "Hell's Kitchen" with 8.9 million viewers and a 4.3 rating/12 share. "So You Think You Can Dance" also performed strongly, as it drew 7.8 million viewers with a 2.9/10. "Don't Forget the Lyrics" also was very strong with its 8.7 million viewers and 3.2/10.
The preseason NFL game between the Indianapolis Colts and Dallas Cowboys also helped Fox win their 12th Thursday in a row also, as it had 7.5 million tune in for the pre-season clash, and a 2.8/10.
Overall, Fox came in with an average of 5.4 million viewers and 2.2/7 for the week in the key demo. CBS (CBS-A) won the overall viewership with 7.1 million average viewers and 2.0/7. ABC (DIS) was third with 4.4 million and 1.5/5. NBC (GE) came in fourth with 5.6 million and 1.8/6.
