Harvey Weinstein is evidently trying to give Lindsay Lohan a plug as he commented that he'd hire her at any time not matter what her personal and legal problems were.
Lohan is taking another spin around the rehab block as she is getting counselling at a rehab cliinic in Utah. She is awaiting to go to jail for a day on a couple drunk driving charges.
When you hear Weinstein say Lohan's the first person he hopes to get to act in a string of movies for him, you know he's trying to save her career, and maybe life, as it otherwise makes no sense.
Weinstein said: "I just hope that Lindsay is fine. She's a good lady... She's a wonderful actress. She did a great job in Bobby. Lindsay is a wonderful talent."
Could you imagine the feedback Weinstein would get from investors if their money was on the line with Lohan as the deciding factor? I don't think so.
Lohan comes with so much baggage that she'd have to initiate steps to take real responsibility for her life by measurable standards in order for anyone to take her seriously again. The endless trip to rehab for publicity and show can't cut any longer.
If Weinstein is saying these things, it makes me think Lohan is in deeper personal trouble than is known.
