One of NBC's (GE) only series they can count on, Heroes, has added another character to its cast, as they've enlisted Jessica Collins to play a recurring role on the popular series.
Her new character will be a mysterious woman named Sophie, who works for an organization that is watching the heroes closely.
Collins is currently playing in The Nine for ABC (DIS) which will not be picked up again after ending this month. She has also had some guest appearances on Ghost Whiperer, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation and Law & Order: Criminal Intent.
She'll be joining another newcomer Dania Ramirez, who will play a character named Maya Herrera, who nothing is known much about except she'll be from South America.
Another former character from The Nine has joined the next season cast as well, as Dana Davis will play the role of a character named Monica.
Tim Kring told reporters that the new season will focus on a number of conflicts between the characters. He added there will be new villains introduced into the series for the second season as well.
Heroes' second season launces on Sept. 24 at 9 p.m.
