The marketing campaign for "The Bourne Ultimatum" has gone beyond the usual to the unusual, as Universal Studios put up a huge billboard advertising the movie on the side of Manhattan building Matt Damon and his family lives in.
In a humorous take, the billboard has a picture of Jason Bourne, Damon's character, walking with a gun in his hand and the caption "Bourne Comes Home." While it's referring to him returning to the U.S., it's a play on his living in the building as well.
The billboard itself is huge, measuring at around 15 feet wide and 50 feet high, says the Smokinggun.com.
Universal Studios evidently leases the side of the building, which has used the same spot before to market the Robin Williams comedy "Man of the Year."
"The Bourne Ultimatum" scored the largest August opener with a $70.2 million take for last weekend.
