The Justice League of America is a group of superheroes featuring Batman, Wonder Woman and Superman, among others. With the seemingly endless taste for big screen superhero films by the public, this group of heroes will also be brought to the big screen.
It looks like the role of Superman will be played by Smallville star Tom Welling, who plays Clark Kent/Superman in the TV show.
Reports are he'll play both Superman in the Smallville series and the big screen Superman with the Justice League simultaneously.
Brandon Routh who played the last Superman has been decided against for the new superman by producers.
The film is scheduled to begin production some time in the early part of 2008.
I'm tired of movies with awesome special effects and weak, formulaic plots. But I do have a soft spot for superhero flicks.
