Those who lamented the "death" of Tony Almeida on 24, will be thrilled to hear that one of the favorite characters of the show will be returning for the upcoming 24 season.
Executive producer Howard Gordon says, "Tony's uncertain fate near the end of Day 5 left the door open for his return.
"And since there was no silent clock at the conclusion of his last appearance we always kept this as a possibility."
If it's like it was in the past, we'll probably see his appearance saving Jack in some type of perilous situation. Once 24 gets a certain rhythm, it seems to keep it from season to season ... the reason I think it'll happen that way.
The character, played by Carlos Bernard, was one of my favorites, and will probably keep me interested enough to tune in again for the coming season.
