Measuring their survey by the amount of Internet buzz and discussion, ABC (DIS) has landed the top two spots for shows anticipated by TV viewers for the fall season.
BrandIntel says the top two most anticipated shows are Pushing Daisies and Private Practice.
ABC was also the top overall network in the sentiment rankings, with five of their shows ending in the top ten.
The survey, called "2007 TV Landscape," reveals the top upcoming fall shows and networks that are being talked about in the most positive light. It includes forums, blogs and social networking sites.
According to the report, discussion for the fall 2007 season is up 300 percent from last year, mostly because the networks released trailers and previews earlier and right after the upfront negotiations.
The show with the highest sentiment, Pushing Daisies, is said to be the most likely to be viewed show, based mostly on the engaging previews and very original content.
Bionic Woman has received the most discussion, but a lot of that is connected to the hiring of Isaiah Washington.
While all of this is interesting, Snakes on a Plane revealed that even with a huge amount of Internet buzz, it may not necessarily result in great viewership.
