Hillary Rodham Clinton Can't Take the Heat - Where is DVD 'Path to 9/11'?

It seems the Clintons and the Democrats have gone to new lows, as the highly popular docudrama "Path to 9/11' is being blocked from DVD release.

ABC Studio executives originally told Cyrus Nowrasteh, the screenwriter of the project, that the DVD release would come in January of 2007. Then they changed it to April. Then, sometime this summer. As of now, Nowrasteh says there's no release date set at all.

The film was presented as a five-hour miniseries on ABC, and cost $40 million to make. It was drew a tremendous amount of interest with over 25 million viewers tuning in to watch it.

The major reason DVDs aren't released is because there is little interest from the public in purchasing them. The huge built-in audience for "Path to 9/11" guarantees a big profit on the sales. It has also received 7 Emmy nominations for the work.

Nowrasteh has been told by an ABC executive "if Hillary weren't running for president, this wouldn't be a problem." Last year a Clinton spokesman said the ABC was "despcable," in reference to allowing the docudrama to air.

Nowrasteh said it was clear the reason it isn't being put out: "Powerful forces are out to protect Bill Clinton's presidential legacy and shield Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton (D-N.Y.) from any potential collateral damage in her bid for the White House."

Even extreme politically left Oliver Stone was disturbed about the DVD not being released to the public. "This is a shame; it's censorship in the most blatant way," said Stone. He added that artists should have the right for their work to be distributed.

There is no excuse for this non-action by ABC and The Walt Disney Co. (DIS). Other controversial projects like "Fahrenheit 9/11," and "The Reagans" have been released on DVD, and so should this one.

This shows the danger of politicians like Hilary Rodham and Bill Clinton, who believe they have some type of exemption from being scrutinized like anybody else is.

The idea that they obviously think that way shows deep flaws in their character. When consider this and their hiding from debates on the Fox (NWS-A), you have to deeply question these type of fearful people and their unwillingness to be brought out into the public light.
