Katie Couric is setting the wrong records as "The CBS Evening News With Katie Couric" plunged to a record low in the ratings; not the way she wanted to celebrate her first year on the job.
The ratings or 5.4 million viewers was the lowest since the modern ratings system was introduced in 1987.
Some seem to act surprised that here hyped trip to the Iraq war zone didn't do much to boost ratings, but experience with others doing the same show it never does.
Her competitors finished in a close race for the week with "World News With Charles Gibson" just barely beating out "NBC Nightly News With Brian Williams," drawing 7.8 million viewers to Williams' 7.78 million; a tiny 24,000 difference.
I am surprised that there are 7.4 million Americans who have nothing better to do than to listen to the outrageous propaganda that is called news on the network TVs
