There's been a lot of debate about to Southwest Airlines (LUV) telling a couple of women to dress more appropriately if they wanted to fly with the airlines.
I've talked more about it at a couple of other blogs, here I want to mention some of the consequence of the problem that may face Southwest.
Personally I think you're going to start seeing women trying to get noticed by starting to purposefully attempting to fly the airlines, wearing provactive clothing to provoke them into taking some type of action. The result will be instant press coverage. I wouldn't doubt if a few Hollywood agents aren't already lining up some of their clients to get noticed through a confrontation. It beats the scripted DUI charges the entertainers receive to get noticed.
There you have it, you heard it here first: Southwest Airlines is the official airlines now leading to stardom. Show your skin you can't come in! It'll get them on TV now.
