With World Wreslting Entertainment Inc. (WWE) being seen in over 130 countries, the company announced it's creating a new global division to develop new opportunities.
Executive Vice President, Global Media, Shane McMahon, will lead the way as the WWE entends its operations into Sao Paulo, Toronto, London, Sydney, Tokyo and Shanghai.
Leading the London office will be Andrew Whitaker, who will preside as President of Europe, Middle East and Africa. Heading the Toronto office will be Carl DeMarco, who will continue to work on growing Canadian, Latin American and Chinese markets. Jonathan Sully will oversee the Sydney office, as president of the Asian Pacific region.
"Whitaker, DeMarco and Sully will oversee integrated sales, marketing and digital initiatives as well as focus on new and emerging markets. This new structure will allow us to more quickly exploit business opportunities and leverage the strength of the WWE brand," said McMahon.
I have been watching wwe wrestling for as long as I can remember, I am glad to hear about the expansion this can only better the company and provide better entertainment for all the fans like myself and new fans to be.
Vince is a very creative individual, he's always coming up with new ideas.
I guess that is why he's a Billionaire, people who are the most creative are usually the most successful.
