With the potential strike by the Writers Guild of America on the horizon, we can only hope there's some type of agreement reached, as low-quality fare like MTV's "A Shot At Love With Tila Tequila" could be type of junk we may have to watch.
One of the strategies and positions of strength perceived by the Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers, is that they can put a string of reality shows on TV if there's strike and it goes on for any length of time. Could you imagine having to put up with the - even by MTV's low standards - pathetic shows like this for a long period of time? Gag.
Some are even desperate to make this talentless show into a mainstream offering, saying, that though she started off as a niche, "she has crossed over to the mainstream."
Huh? Mainstream? Other than her Internet followers and the small audience that watches the show, nobody has heard of her.
This is the type of worthless stuff we'll have to put up with ... actually we won't, we'll all be turning it off. Even so, it's enough to send letters to the studios and writers to make sure they get together so we don't have to be tortured with this type of low-level non-show for a long period of time.

I've seen the show and I still don't know who she is or why she got a show on MTV...Is she some sort of internet star?
