Even while they're working on the back 10 episodes of the second season, ABC Family (DIS) has ordered another 10 episodes of the drama from ABC Studios, guaranteeing there'll be a third season for the series.
The drama's second season has performed well for the cable network, as it has grown in their target adult 18 to 34 audience by 8 percent over last year, increasing from 308,000 to 333,000. Women watching in that demographic increased by 2 percent, growing from 209,000 from 205,000.
It is reported the drama is also the second rated program on basic cable in these categories during their time period: female teens, 220,000; No. 3 in teens 12 to 17, 319,000 and females 12 to 34, 429,000, and No. 5 in adults 12 to 34, 651,000.
The starting date for the third season hasn't been decided yet.

I've never seen this one, but I've thought about going back and trying to catch up on it. There is something about the show's premise that appeals to me. Knowing that the show will still be around, is a pretty good incentive to go back and get caught up.
