A sting operation landed the first of what police say may be more arrests in the case involving Steven Spielberg and items from the upcoming film, "Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull."
Included with with stolen merchandise were photos, documents and computers related to the fourth film in the Indiana Jones' series.
Concerning the arrested man, Steve Whitmore, a spokesman from the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department said, "He is on what is known as parole hold. We believe there's more people involved and don't want to release the name until this plays out."
The thieves sent emails to Internet gossip sites offering the various stolen items for sale. Officers posing as interested parties made the arrest when the man came to see them.
The sheriff's department was notified by Dreamworks Pictures SKG, when Steven Spielberg became concerned the items would probably be put up for sale.
