Update: Bobby Brown says didn't suffer heart attack!
Singer Bobby Brown, the former husband of entertainer and singer Whitney Houston, suffered a mild heart attack, his attorney announced Wednesday.
Brown experienced severe chest pains on Tuesday night, and ended up being checked out at two hospitals. He was eventually admitted to Tarzana Regional Medical Center.
"This morning they did diagnose him as suffering from a mild heart attack ... they attributed (it) to stress and diet," said his attorney, Phaedra Parks, in Atlanta. "He is in great spirits, he's doing very well. He's speaking with family members."
Brown's father and brother spend the night with him, and was was released Wednesday morning in good condition. Brown is 38-years-old.
He was also scheduled for a Saturday performance in Los Angeles, which he said he hopes to still make.
