In the continual visitation rights saga of Britney Spears and her children, her lawyer said on Sunday that she has again been given the right to temporary visits with her sons.
Her attorney Anne Kiley said in a email to the AP that "Yes, she has visitation with the children." She added nothing else to the statement.
Spears had been spotted driving with the children in the car, along with an adult who is presumed to be a parenting coach required by the court.
She is not allowed to visit with her children without a monitor with her at all times. Superior Court Commissioner Scott Gordon ordered in a hearing that it would stay that way until she complied with an unknown court order, which is probably connected to random drug testing which she hasn't responded to yet.
This is a little surprising to me. With Gordon saying there is evidence that Spears is involved in "habitual, frequent and continuous use of controlled substances and alcohol," and her refusing to comply with random drug testing, it implies she isn't willing to give up her lifestyle for the children.
Another hearing is set for October 26.
