Fox (NWS-A) has decided to change their midseason schedule by moving "Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles" to the slot before "24." It will premiere on January 14 along with "24."
The show, which had the name "The Sarah Connor Chronicles" in the beginning, was originally slated for the Sunday 9 p.m. slot.
As a result of the change, Fox will keep its Sunday two-hour animation segment together in its existing 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. position. Once the football season is over, the network will continue with its usual comedy repeats on Sunday at 7 p.m.
Fox executive Vice President of program planning/scheduling Preston Beckman, said he made the move because he believes there's a chance "to make more noise in January." He could be right on that. They pretty much move from the number four position to the first or second once the midseason begins.
Concerning "K-Ville," which had been scheduled in the Monday 8 p.m. position, it's not known at this time where it'll end up, assuming it gets another full season order.
For "Sarah Conner," the show will be a continuation from where "Terminator 2: Judgment Day" finished. It stars Lena Headey as Sarah, and Thomas Dekker as her son John.
