There's been quite an uproar over the lack of opportunity for people to get tickets to the upcoming "Best of Both Worlds" tour by Hannah Montana star Miley Cyrus. Scalpers bought up tickets so quickly real fans couldn't purchase tickets to see the shows.
While Garth Brooks has quickly sold out his one-show performance at the Sprint Center in Kansas City, he did do things a little differently to give fans a chance to get tickets.
Brooks' promoters set aside a certain number of tickets which forced people to show up at a location and line up to buy a ticket. That gave his core fan base a legitimate chance to buy tickets at face value.
Regular prices for tickets at the Garth Brooks concert were $27.50, but even with the actions Brooks took, tickets are already showing up on eBay (EBAY) at prices as high as $2,300.
Along with Brooks, the concert will feature Trisha Yearwood as a guest artist. The concert is scheduled for November 5.
