
"Grey's Anatomy" helped ABC (DIS) to finish first in the Thursday night key demo of adults 18-49, finishing up with about 7.8/19 in 18-49. They also drew 18.9 million viewers, according to preliminary numbers from Nielsen. Grey's dominated in the overall female demo as usual.
CBS' (CBS-A) "CSI" also performed well, drawing a 6.0/14 in 18-49, with 19.6 million overall viewers, to lead that category.
Finishing next in the tough Thursday night slot was "The Office" for NBC (GE), coming in at 4.7/11 for 18-49, and 8.9 million viewers. "Office" prevailed in the mail demo in 18-34.
"Survivor: China" didn't improve over its last performance, starting the night off with a 4.5/13 in 18-49 and 14 million viewers. "Ugly Betty" was their closest competitor, ending with 3.5/10 in 18-49 and 10.4 million viewers.
The top show for Fox (NWS-A) was "Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader" in the 8:00 slot, finishing with 2.3/7 and 8.2 million total.
