![]() It's no surprise to most people, but Jorja Fox has let it be officially known that she's leaving the hit drama "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation." a There's been a ton of websites rallying to try to get CBS (CBS-A) to return the actress to the series, but it was her personal choice, and nobody else's. A lot of people are talking like it was 2004, where Fox and fellow actor George Eads were fired during contract negotiations, but that's not the case this time. a As Fox said, "There are all these things I want to do. Some are personal. Some are professional. And I really need to do some of them before I get too old. If I thought the show were on its last legs, I would have tried harder to stay the course. But I feel like its going to be around for a while, so if I don’t want some of those dreams to pass me by. I have to get off the ride for a while." a Fox has finished her part in filming the series, and will make her last appearance in her role as Sara Sidle sometime in a November episode. a She added in an interview, that her onscreen relationship with Grissom, played by William Peterson, won't be completely resolved; seemingly a hint they won't be married on the show. a |

I am not a Fox fan, but her being gone will change the tone for a while.
CSI is probable the best show on TV. And I know this is going to cause a lot of flack but, I will not miss Sara. The romance between her and Gil put limitations on what could happen
