The Best of Both Worlds Tour with Hanna Montana star Miley Cyrus continues to sell out within minutes, as tickets become almost impossible to find.
Ticket scalpers are getting in trouble as attorney's general are starting to sue or investigate online ticket outlets.
Attorney General of Missouri, Jay Nixon, filed a lawsuit against GoTickets Inc., Tickets Now Entertainment Group Inc. and Ticket Solutions Inc., claiming the companies have committed fraud under the consumer protection laws of the state.
The face value cost of the tickets are top off at $63 dollars, but have been resold online in some cases for over $2,000.
Amazingly, the tour is so anticipated, that brokers are charging an average of $230 per ticket, beating out pop stars like "the Police ($209), Beyoncé ($193) and Justin Timberlake ($182)."
StubHub spokesman Sean Pate said, "It's the hottest concert ticket in the country, bar none,"
"The market-driven prices...are skewing high currently, not unlike a company whose stock price soars after a positive earnings announcement. Although some people are purchasing, sellers will eventually have to adjust their prices to attract buyers."
Cyrus will perform with her father, and also co-star on the popular show: Billy Ray Cyrus, in a duet on the next "Dancing with the Stars" when results are revealed.
