Nick Nolte became a daddy for the second time at the age of 66, as he and girlfriend Clytie Lane, had their first child, a daughter that as of yet hasn't been named.
Nolte has a 21-year-old son from his last marriage named Brawley.
The baby weighed 7 pounds 13 ounces at birth, and is doing well along with Lane, said Nolte's publicist. The baby was born in Los Angeles last Wednesday.
The next project Nolte will appear in is "The Spiderwick Chronicles," a fantasy film from Paramount Pictures. He is working with Ben Stiller at this time on a comedy called "Tropic Thunder" from Dreamworks.
