In lawsuit filed in a New York federal court, Howard K. Stern asked for $60 million from Rita Cosby and her publisher Hachette Book Group USA Inc.
The lawsuit seeks $10 million in compensatory damages and $50 million in punitive damages based on Cosby's book "Blonde Ambition: The Untold Story Behind Anna Nicole Smith's Death," which asserted Stearn and another Smith boyfriend, Larry Birkhead had sexual relations.
Even bigger than that, the book implies that Birkhead and Stern partnered together after Anna Nicole Smith's death to generate large profits while manipulating the media.
An AP report says concerning the lawsuit, "that the book falsely accuses Stern of, among other things, criminal lewd acts, homosexual acts, illegal possession and use of cocaine, conspiring to commit murder and kidnapping for ransom."
In the book Cosby claims a former employee of Anna Nicole Smith has seen a videotape of the encounter, and had seen Smith viewing the videotape as well.
There were also assertions that Stern and Birkhead had made a private deal concerning the finances and custody of Dannielynn, Smith's daughter. Birkhead has denied that claim.

This lawsuit has absolutely no merit and so should be tossed out in the wind. The way I see it, that man should be investigated for the murder of Anna Nicole Smith. He talks, looks and acts like a gold digger. He is surrounded by a thick cloud of suspicion about everything related to Anna.
