Talking to Reuters, Rupert Murdoch said that by sometime in 2008, the Fox Business Network (NWS-A) will reach over 40 million homes in the U.S. At launch, the network had a little over 30 million homes it could be seen in. He added that by the end of 2007, it should be in about 35 million homes.
The success of the Fox Business Network, according to Fox News Chairman Roger Ailes, is having its distribution improve.
"The key now is distribution," he said. "Once we've got distribution, I think it's pretty clear to people that we've got a good product and we'll be bought."
Ailes also said that while reports so far have been positive, there is a lot of room for improvement, and they're running at about 10 percent of what he sees the network becoming.
Most believe these are the early steps to Fox Business expanding into a business news agency that dominates the space globally.
It is one of the largest launches in U.S. cable history, according to analysts.

I am surprised to hear this. Where are the 40 million homes. In US?
