Desperate Housewives star Teri Hatcher isn't happy with the films being put out by the industry, as she says there's rarely anything she and her daughter Emerson Rose can watch together.
Hatcher said: "I am one of those moms who is disgruntled with the film industry. Every Friday, we think, 'Wouldn't it be great to go to the movies?' But you go down there, and 13 of the 14 films are PG-13 or R.
"It's really difficult if you don't believe in super-speeding up your child's rearing."
Instead of going to the movies, Hatcher sits and watches television with her daughter, mostly cooking shows.
I've seen this a lot in the places I hang out at. Many people are turning to anything they can watch as a family together.
I've mentioned it before, as have many others, how much the industry is missing by not offering more family-friendly fare; most of which outperforms most the other stuff by a long shot.
