Jerry Seinfeld seemed to be everywhere the last couple weeks, promoting the launch of the "Bee Movie" this weekend. It should be a welcome change to the tired, worn out offerings that have been put up lately.
He's even stirred up a little controversy, by insisting it's a family movie, something some types of anti-family people will always have problems with. Some people just aren't happy that movies like this are labeled a "family" movie; something moms, dads and children can go see together.
The pent up demand should overflow to a successful debut for the film, as families haven't had much reason to go to the theater lately.
While the movie has the similar theme of some type of insect character trying to make a break from the group, and somehow become his own, individual bug. As other movies like this one, it shouldn't have much impact on the children, they should still love it.

On the other hand, parents may find themselves struggling to get through the plot on this one, finding it pretty repetitious with past offerings.
Still, the one liners we're used to from Seinfeld, inhabit this film as well, and some of the scenes are great props to offer the humor through.
Overall this should be a highly successful run for the film, even if adults find it a little harder to sit through than normal. Once the show gets going it gets you involved in it. It just takes a little time to get there.
