The Bionic Woman, which has struggled since its launch this fall, is rumored to have been canceled by studio executives. It looks like actress Michelle Ryan will be losing her role and job as lead for the show, along with the rest of the cast members.
In early November, as a result of the writers' strike, contracts with the cast of the show were suspended.
Now production on the series has also been stopped, with a number of Hollywood insiders saying that it will be cut by the network.
While rumors have been swirling around the show being canceled from the first installment aired, this time the series of events surrounding it, plus the show's inability to resonate with viewers that really wanted it to, make it likely that this time around the rumors it's not going to come back are true.

Yeah, it has not been that strong a show to begin with and the strike probably didn't help matters either. Which is too bad. I was hoping it would grow into something more substantial, but the last couple of episodes were just beyond bland and didn't feel like the show was headed anywhere but the regular melodrama posing as genre television. I say posing because, without Katee Sackhoff's character, Bionic Woman doesn't even smell like science fiction anymore.
