Dennis Miller, the Emmy Award winning comedian is ready to go back into the sports genre, as he launches a new sports show called "Sports Unfiltered with Dennis Miller." It premieres on the Versus sports network Tuesday night (tonight).
The new show will have a similar feel to his former HBO talk show "Dennis Miller Live," which he had from 1994-2002. An AP report says "A typical one-hour episode will include a monologue, two guests and some phone calls from viewers. Miller also will take a page from "The Daily Show" and use a field reporter."
Miller of course had a two year stint on ABC Monday Night Football as a commentator, and brings an extensive knowledge of sports to the mix. Miller said concerning his time at ABC (DIS), "I was proud of my tenure there."
The show will bring Millers' usual hilarious insights into the sporting world, with his unique sense of humor.
On tonights' premiere, Miller will interview Curt Schilling.
