"Hardbody Harrison," a former pro wrestler for the now defunct World Championship Wrestling organization, was convicted of forcing 8 women to be sex slaves.
Some of the charges Harrision Norris Jr. was convicted of by a federal jury was sex trafficking, forced labor and aggravated sexual abuse, among others, while holding in women against their will in his two homes in northern Georgia.
A number of witnesses testified that he would threaten and beat them if they didn't engage in prostitution, or other labor he wanted done around his homes.
Norris, who served as his own lawyer, claimed the women lived at his homes willingly, for the purpose of training to become pro wrestlers. He added that many of them had been drug addicts and he had helped them get into the best shape of their lives.
Prosecutor Susan Coppedge said "I think the jury's verdict vindicates the rights of the victims who were brave enough to come forward and confront this man who abused them."
It's possible that Norris could receive life in prison when he's sentenced on February 28.
