Justin Bruening, who starred in day soap "All My Children," has been picked to play in the role of the son of Michael Knight in the new Knight Rider movie.
David Hasselhoff, who hasn't been approached to play any kind of role in the project, has bee visibly upset, after he wasn't even offered a cameo role, which he believes fans will demand.
Hasselhoff said: "I think fans will demand that I at least pop up in a cameo. I made the show and fans deserve it."
This Knight Rider vehicle for this film hasn't been revealed yet, but is reportedly thought of as a car that can even morph like a Transformer-type robot.
NBC is said to be looking for a partner in the auto industry for the new, remade KITT.
The Knight Rider film is scheduled for release sometime in 2008.
