Even before Katie Holmes crossed the finish line of the New York City Marathon, she got rewarded for her effort as hubby Tom Cruise, holding daughter Suri, gave his wife a big kiss on the final stretch of the run, intercepting her before the end.
Holmes wasn't only cheered on by her famous husband and daughter, but her parents, along with Cruise's mother were at the finish line in Central Park to congratulate her as well.
As far as her performance in the race went, she finished with a time of 5:29:58, while looking pretty fresh at the end.
Even so, when asked later by People, she said, "I'm good, but I'm feeling very tired." Holmes added that all parts of the race were challenging, when queried on what part of the race was the hardest.
Tom Cruise said she had trained for the race over a 3-month period.
