Sarah Michelle Gellar, known for her lead role in "Buffy the Vampire Slayer," said she's changing her last name to Prinze as a wedding present to her husband on their fifth anniversary. Gellar is married to Freddie Prinze Jr.
USmagazine cited a source saying, "She officially changed her name to Sarah Michelle Prinze in honour of the occasion.
"On their anniversary, she showed (Freddie) her new driver's license. It was so sweet."
Gellar and Prinze Jr. met on the set of "I Know What You Did Last Summer" in 1997. They married in September 2002.
Sarah Michelle Prinze doesn't sound too bad. Even with this move, she says she's still not ready to have children yet.
She is currently starring with Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson and Mandy Moore in "Southland Tales."
