Although most of the fans of "The Bachelor" were disappointed when bachelor Brad Womack decided to choose no one in the season finale, it didn't keep the show from scoring its highest ratings of the season for the ABC (DIS) reality series.
Also scoring high for the alphabet was "Dancing with the Stars," which drew its highest audience in the key 18-49 demo since its premiere show.
Another ABC show, "Samantha Who?" had its highest ratings ever to lead the network to a solid Monday night win.
I don't know if it's the psychological effect of the writers strike, but another show on CBS (CBS-A) also had its highest ratings for the season, with "CSI: Miami" equaling its high this year, winning their time frame. "Two and a Half Men" also performed in their usually strong way, finishing with a 5.1 rating for the night.
Also doing well for CBS were a "Big Bang" repeat, "How I Met Your Mother," and "Rules of Engagement."
For NBC (GE), their "Heroes" was down for the night with a 5.0, while nothing else really did anything for them, sticking them in the No. 3 position for Monday prime time.
Fox (NWS-A) was also slow for the the night, not really putting anything new up, as they ended in a distant fourth place for the night.
