In a tight competition on the final night, Helio Castroneves won the competition, dancing the Quickstep with Julianne Hough. They paired off against Melanie Brown and Maksim Chmerkovskiy, who danced the Mambo.

Third place finisher was Marie Osmond, with her dance partner Jonathan Harris.

Celine Dion performed a couple of different songs at different times on the final night, first performing "My Heart Will Go ON" before the third-place announcement, and returning later to sing her new single "Taking Chances." I'm a super Celine fan so was taken away as always by her performances.

After being told he was the winner by Tom Bergeron, Helio responded saying, “This is an incredible moment, right now.  I can’t thank enough.”
