For the creators of "Borat," the stream of lawsuits don't seem to stop, as another bit player in the film has sued, saying he was deceived into taking part in the film, when it was described to him as a "documentary about the integration of foreign people into the American way of life."
Filing the latest lawsuit is Michael Psenicska, who played the part of an instructor teaching "Borat" how to drive. Saying he suffers emotional harm and because he was lied to, Psenicska is seeking $400,000 in actual and punitive damages. He claims if he knew what the film was really about, he would have never participated in it.
Along with Sacha Baron Cohen, others named in the suit are Todd Lewis, from One America; One America Productions and Twentieth Century Fox Film Corp.(NWS-A). The suit was filed in a federal court in Manhattan.
It looks like this is the sixth lawsuit filed in relationship to the movie, while a possible two or three others are being considered.
Worldwide the film grossed about $270 million, and had DVD sales of around $60 million.
