It looks like Britney Spears is losing interest in her children, as another court-ordered deposition found she wasn't going to show up.
According to attorney Mark Vincent Kaplan, Spears wasn't feeling good.
"She's going to show at a later date," Kaplan said, "but we don't waive any rights to ask for certain relief from the court as a result of having a court-ordered deposition not attended."
I'm not sure how long Spears thinks her celebrity status will give her special privileges, but the average person couldn't get away with what the self-destructing Spears is.
Time after time she has failed to respond to court-ordered drug tests, and won't even pick up a phone or respond to calls from the laboratory. She even had to be ordered to provide a phone she could be contacted at.
To me this court is getting to be ridiculous. Spears needs to be told to start showing an interest in her children and their future, or have her rights to them terminated.
Her disregard for them shows she has no concern for their welfare or connection to her, and is only absorbed in herself.
It's past time to get tough with her, and start giving ultimatum's.
